Co-founded by Dr. Lawrence Chao M.D. and healthcare consultant Dr. Anne Tran, Pharm.D. in 2005, Chao Vision Institute was the first cataract, LASIK, and corneal refractive subspecialty eye care center in Irvine, CA.

Doctors who were opening private practices would turn to the couple to see meaningful healthcare design including an open practice layout where the health and well-being of staff and patients would be be the focus.

Today, Chao Vision Institute is a two location ophthalmic practice offering general eye care as well as surgical expertise. While laser vision correction (LVC) procedures such as PRK are performed at the Irvine office, LVC and cataract consults can be booked at either location.

More importantly Chao Vision Institute maintains and delivers on its core values of personalized care, university-level expertise to create a memorable patient experience.
